Xemino is an APSL approved bay Lusitano stallion. Owned by Sarah Macone, he stands and trains at Rancho Bayo in Georgetown, TX. He is almost exclusively Veiga bloodlines to notably include Dardo II, Quimono and Bailador. He has excellent conformation, a beautiful yet flexible neck, strong and impulsive hocks and a classical profile. His piaffe and passage have superb rhythm and flexion. He has a phenomenal temperament, superb rideabilty and stunning movement. When asked, Xemino can go to work as an exceptional dressage performer or take a quiet hack out in the woods. He is sensitive without being nervous and has the most tremendous work ethic you could ask for in a horse. His overall demeanor at shows, expos or at home is constantly complimented on. Xemino passes on to his foals, his exceptional hock flexion, sweet and thoughtful temperament, intelligence, and his show stopping looks and movement!

Awarded the 2013 USDF All-Breeds Jr/Young Rider Second Level IALHA Purebred Championship. He has schooled up to Fourth Level Dressage successfully and has trained under Karl Mikolka, the former chief rider of the Spanish Riding School.

Xemino moved in June 2015 from Massachusetts to Texas in order to start his training in Working Equitation for the 2016 season with Michelle Clarke of Rancho Bayo. Being the grandson of Dardo II, a twice Gold Medal Standard winner, five-time Champion in Progeny and five-time Champion in International Working Equitation competitions, a move to Working Equitation seemed only natural for Xemino as it is proving to be! Xemino is Bay - per UC Davis: EEAa. He is homozygous for black, therefore will never produce red based (chestnut) foals. Xemino does not carry gray, cream or pearl.
